Koe Wetzel is kicking off the next chapter of his career with a major statement. The Texas-born singer-songwriter’s new single, “Jaded,” featuring Ella Langley, is already making waves across country music. Released Friday, the collaboration is the most-added song at Country radio today, with 107 stations adding the track. It also enters the Mediabase Country Airplay chart at No. 40.
The song’s streaming debut is just as impressive. “Jaded” delivered the biggest first-day streaming performance of Wetzel’s career, surpassing even “High Road,” his 4x-Platinum debut Country radio single that spent five weeks at No. 1 and ultimately became the most-played song of 2025.
The momentum translated across major streaming and sales platforms, with “Jaded” debuting at No. 28 on the U.S. Spotify Daily Chart, No. 38 on Apple’s Top Songs chart, No. 10 on Apple’s Top Songs Country chart and No. 2 on iTunes.
For Wetzel, the timing couldn’t be better. Just days before the single’s release, he brought his The Night Champion World Tour to Nashville’s sold-out Bridgestone Arena, delivering a 90-minute, pyro-heavy performance that showcased the full spectrum of his sound—from the rowdy rockers that built his reputation to the more vulnerable songs from his latest album.
The Tennessean praised the performance for capturing the “unruly, but magnetic charm” that Wetzel has built his career around, calling him “the mercurial ringleader of a fun, rambunctious circus determined to seize the moment.”

“Jaded” builds on Wetzel’s sixth studio album, The Night Champion, and reunites him with Langley three years after the pair first collaborated on the Gold-certified “That’s Why We Fight.” The new duet finds the two artists exploring the complicated space between falling for someone new and carrying the scars of a toxic past. Wetzel and Langley trade lines throughout the track before arriving at its central question: how does someone learn to love again after being hurt?
Produced by Gabe Simon and Jordan Schmidt, “Jaded” leans into the darker, more vulnerable side of Wetzel’s songwriting while allowing Langley’s unmistakable voice to add another layer of emotional tension. Billboard previously praised the pair’s “moody, vulnerable collaboration,” highlighting how their voices merge around the story of someone caught between romance and reservations. Rolling Stone has similarly pointed to Wetzel’s willingness to make country music darker and more dangerous than convention typically allows as one of the qualities that separates him from his peers.
That boundary-pushing approach has become the foundation of Wetzel’s career. A roughneck, rule-breaking, red-dirt rocker, Wetzel forged a distinctive sound from grunge, rock and Texas outlaw country.
