LOCASH isn't slowing down anytime soon. Riding one of the biggest waves of their career, the platinum-selling country duo has announced the release of their upcoming EP, Let The Country Music Play, arriving August 7 via their own Galaxy Label Group. The six-song collection continues the winning momentum Preston Brust and Chris Lucas have built over the past year, blending heartfelt storytelling with the infectious, feel-good energy that has become synonymous with the duo.

Serving as the follow-up to Bet The Farm—the album that produced the chart-dominating hit "Hometown Home," Country Aircheck/Mediabase's No. 4 overall song of 2025—the new EP expands on LOCASH's signature mix of contemporary country and timeless influences.

Leading the project is its celebratory title track, a collaboration with Parmalee that cleverly reinvents Rupert Holmes' classic "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)" into a country anthem honoring the genre's legends while embracing modern Nashville. The track has already become a summer favorite, showcasing LOCASH's knack for balancing nostalgia with fresh production.

The EP also includes fan favorite "YES," a heartfelt love song released earlier this year, alongside the brand-new focus track, "Talkin Bout," which officially impacts country radio on August 24. Written by Chris Lucas, Preston Brust, Nate Kenyon, and Blake Bollinger, "Talkin Bout" captures the duo at their most relatable. Built around clever lyrical references—from baseball and George Strait to hometown pride—the song culminates in a universal declaration of devotion, with every conversation ultimately leading back to the one person who matters most. The soaring chorus and arena-ready production make it an easy contender for LOCASH's next radio success.

The complete Let The Country Music Play track list includes:

  1. Let The Country Music Play (feat. Parmalee)
  2. Talkin Bout
  3. Wrong Hearts
  4. Wish I Could've Been There
  5. YES
  6. Fishin' For A Livin'

Beyond new music, LOCASH continues to bring its high-energy performances to fans across North America with its recently launched LET THE COUNTRY MUSIC PLAY TOUR. The duo resumes the trek this week with a performance at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles before making stops in Las Vegas, Mission Viejo, San José del Cabo, and dozens of additional markets through December.

Among the tour's standout events is the Hilton Head Island Jam Songwriter Festival, where LOCASH will host the inaugural LOCASH Golf Bash at Atlantic Dunes at Sea Pines Resort. The charity scramble tournament will benefit Lowcountry organizations and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, underscoring the duo's ongoing commitment to giving back while connecting with fans beyond the stage.

With chart success, a packed touring schedule, and another collection of hook-filled country anthems on the horizon, Let The Country Music Play finds LOCASH capitalizing on one of the strongest chapters of their career. If the title track and "Talkin Bout" are any indication, the duo is poised to keep the party going well into the second half of 2026.
