Chris Janson has once again proven why he remains one of country music’s most electrifying live performers, bringing a historic night to his home state of Missouri as he shattered attendance records at the Jefferson County Fair.
The chart-topping, multi-Platinum entertainer delivered a powerhouse performance on July 24 at the Buchheit Main Stage in Hillsboro, Missouri, drawing an estimated 9,000 fans — the largest concert audience in the Jefferson County Fair’s 30-year history.
The milestone moment marked a triumphant home-state celebration for Janson, whose high-energy performances, heartfelt songwriting and unmistakable connection with fans have made him one of country music’s most celebrated touring acts. “What a wild and awesome weekend on tour! I’m having a big summer and doing a record-breaking performance means the world to me,” shared Janson. “We’re all having such a great time on this tour we’ll be adding a lot more dates to the Wild Horses Untamed Tour and can’t wait to see even more energetic and happy crowds.”
The historic performance received high praise from event organizers and industry partners, with Applause Entertainment’s Patti Donahoe calling the night an unforgettable achievement. “Chris Janson blew the roof off the stage at the Jefferson County Fair in Hillsboro, MO this past weekend!!
