Country rising star Ashley Cooke enters a bold new chapter with the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album, ashley cooke, out now via Big Loud Records/Back Blocks Music.
Spanning 15 songs, the self-titled project captures the beautiful mess of modern love as Cooke navigates desire, heartbreak, denial and self-discovery in real time. Led by the high-energy Country-Pop anthem “dance around it,” the album showcases Cooke’s signature Coastal Country sound alongside moody ballads and the Motown-inspired soul of her current radio hit “baby blues,” which has already surpassed 55 million global streams.
Produced primarily by legendary hitmaker Dann Huff, ashley cooke features previously released favorites including “the hell you are,” “high school sweetheart,” “xs,” “famous to frances,” and “johnny ‘n june.” The result is a deeply personal collection that finds Cooke embracing both the thrill and uncertainty of love while establishing herself as one of Country music’s most compelling young voices.
The album arrives following a breakout two-year run that has included ACM and iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations, tours with Kane Brown and Parker McCollum, and a cameo on CBS’ Marshals. It follows her 2023 debut shot in the dark and 2025 project ace.
Cooke is celebrating the new album with the cities that made me tour, a special acoustic pop-up experience featuring intimate performances, fan meet-and-greets and exclusive merchandise. She’ll then hit the road for the baby blues world tour, launching September 17 in Cleveland and continuing through February 25, 2027, when the trek concludes at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium. With ashley cooke, Cooke turns a complicated chapter of her life into a confident, emotionally charged Country statement—proving that sometimes the best songs come from simply letting the story unfold.
