Dolly Parton’s legacy is getting a global celebration. The Estate of the country music icon has announced DOLLYFEST, an official Team Dolly-produced festival honoring Parton that will take place in 2027 across two consecutive weekends in Nashville, Tennessee, and London, England — bringing the celebration to two of the world’s most influential music capitals.
Originally conceived as a multi-artist event planned for January 2026 in Nashville, with Parton expected to perform and host, DOLLYFEST has evolved into an international two-day celebration spanning two continents. “What Dolly started, we will ensure is brought to life,” said Danny Nozell, founder and CEO of CTK Enterprises. According to Nozell, DOLLYFEST was a dream Parton envisioned for her 80th birthday and was intended to bring artists and fans together for a massive celebration in Nashville.
Rather than a traditional memorial, the festival will aim to reflect the spirit of the event Parton envisioned — a joyful, music-filled gathering designed to celebrate her extraordinary career, influence and connection with fans around the world. “As far as a traditional memorial goes, that is not something Dolly wanted,” Nozell said. “So, instead, it feels more appropriate for us to take a beat, let all the tributes that immediately make sense occur naturally, and then, see through this festival-style concept that was truly dreamed up by Dolly.”
With Nashville and London serving as the festival’s two host cities, DOLLYFEST is positioned as an international gathering of artists, fans and the global Dolly community, with additional details on performers, tickets and exact 2027 dates still to come. Fans can sign up for updates and be among the first to receive DOLLYFEST announcements at Dolly Parton’s official website.
