Before Kenny Chesney’s highly anticipated 21st studio album, Silver Sands Marina, arrives Sept. 25, the country superstar is giving fans a new way to step inside its world, one game at a time.
Inspired by the boardwalk arcades and summer escapes that shaped Chesney’s own memories, the album rollout will feature spontaneous games leading up to release day, beginning with an interactive experience built around “Burn My Boat.”
In the game, players guide a tall ship flying the No Shoes Nation flag across a Caribbean horizon, clicking clouds to fill the sails and propel the boat from one destination to the next. The faster you play, the farther you travel; with 30 stops and 243 miles waiting to be conquered. “It’s not a perfect day at sea,” Chesney says with a laugh, “but with the dolphins jumping, sea gulls flying, the sun moving through, it’s a pretty great simulation.”

The interactive experience captures the spirit of Silver Sands Marina, an 11-song collection built around the people, places and fleeting moments that make life feel electric. Featuring guests including Lily Meola, Megan Moroney and Colbie Caillat, the album also brings together an impressive lineup of Nashville songwriters.
And there’s more to come. Beyond the marina, there’s the arcade—and all of the memories. Fans can play the first game now and watch for more spontaneous experiences to appear ahead of Silver Sands Marina, out Sept. 25 via HEY NOW Records.
