Triple Tigers Records rising singer-songwriter Shane Profitt is putting love front and center with his latest release, “Last Name,” an up-tempo love song inspired by his fiancée Chloe as the couple prepares for their fall wedding.
With heartfelt lyrics promising her “every dream you’re dreamin’,” Profitt turns the song into more than a love letter — it’s a promise for the future. “This song is a gift to the woman who makes me a better man,” says Profitt. “She’s given me a kind of happiness I never knew was possible, and all I want is to give her the world in return… not just my last name.”
The Columbia, Tennessee native has come a long way from learning Hank Williams Jr. songs on guitar with just three chords. After cutting his teeth playing Puckett’s restaurants while working for the City of Columbia, Profitt has gone on to sell out shows at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and earn standing ovations at the Grand Ole Opry.
Known for his booming vocals, blue-collar storytelling and feel-good, windows-down country sound, Profitt has continued building momentum with songs including “How It Oughta Be,” “Better Off Fishin’,” “Guys Like Me,” “Penny to My Name,” and “Long Live Country.”
His 2025 EP Population Me further established Profitt as an artist with a knack for turning everyday life into relatable country anthems, while recent releases like “You Could Do Anything” and “Comes With the Country” have revealed new emotional and musical layers.
