GRAMMY, CMA and ACM Award winner Carly Pearce continues her deeply personal storytelling with the release of "Happy For Myself," a poignant new track that explores the emotional weight of comparing life's milestones to those of others. Anchored by the striking lyric, "How could good news be so damn hard?" the traditional country ballad finds Pearce confronting the quiet struggle of celebrating others while longing for her own moment.

The song serves as another preview of Pearce's highly anticipated fifth studio album, Honest Woman, arriving August 28 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Co-produced with longtime collaborator Ben West, the project marks a return to Pearce's bluegrass roots through heartfelt songwriting and authentic country musicianship. The album also features collaborations with Riley Green, Dan Tyminski, and Molly Tuttle, further highlighting its rich acoustic foundation.

Following acclaimed releases including the chart-climbing duet "If I Don't Leave I'm Gonna Stay" with Riley Green and the bluegrass-inspired "What If You Loved Me," Pearce is building anticipation for what promises to be one of her most personal albums to date. She'll celebrate the release with a special performance at the Grand Ole Opry before launching her intimate "Honest Woman: Up Close" residency tour across North America this fall.
