Country Thunder Wisconsin celebrated its 30th anniversary in unforgettable fashion over the weekend, as tens of thousands of fans descended on Shadow Hill Ranch in Twin Lakes, Wis., for four days of music, camping and one-of-a-kind moments. From July 16-19, North America's largest Country music festival brand marked the milestone with a blockbuster lineup led by Gavin Adcock, Riley Green, Keith Urban and The Red Clay Strays.
The weekend delivered no shortage of viral-worthy highlights. Gavin Adcock launched the festivities with a high-energy headline set and invited two young fans onstage, while Riley Green surprised the crowd by welcoming Dasha for a duet of their fan-favorite collaboration. Nate Smith turned his performance into an interactive celebration, venturing into the audience, hosting "Nate Smith Karaoke," and meeting fans from the stage. Keith Urban closed the festival by recreating a beloved 2023 onstage moment with a young Packers fan, while Shaboozey brought a young fan onstage to help perform his current Country radio hit "Cowgirl."

Beyond the main stage, the inaugural Buckin' Thunder Pro Bull Riding Event quickly became one of the festival's standout attractions. Presented with Big Hat Rodeo, the three-day competition crowned Jake Morinec as its first-ever champion, adding an exciting new tradition to the Country Thunder experience. Emerging talent also took center stage on the Lake Stage, while the American Songwriter Showcase highlighted the writers behind some of Country's biggest hits.
To commemorate three decades of memories, Country Thunder launched its #MyCountryThunderLegacy campaign, spotlighting longtime attendees whose lives have become intertwined with the festival—from couples who met and married there to families who have made the event an annual tradition.
With another successful year in the books, Country Thunder Wisconsin has once again reinforced its reputation as one of Country music's premier summer destinations. Fans won't have to wait long to start planning their return, with renewals for 2027 camping and reserved seating now available ahead of the public on-sale beginning Aug. 7.
