When the doors swing open for the 32nd season of Dolly Parton’s Stampede on February 27, it won’t take long for guests to understand why it’s known as “Branson’s most fun place to eat.” For more than three decades, this one-of-a-kind dinner attraction in Branson has blended heart-pounding equestrian stunts, musical storytelling, comedy and a hearty four-course feast into an unforgettable family tradition, and 2026 promises even more magic.

“This time of year is always so exciting to me, because it means my Stampede is opening for another season,” said Dolly Parton. “There’s just so much I love about the show, especially how much fun it is for families and kids. The Butterfly Dreams number, all those amazing horses and Skeeter’s silly antics – it all just makes me smile. And some folks even get to be part of the Stampede action in our friendly competitions! There are so many different things to experience and lots of unexpected surprises that I’ve thrown in, but you’re going to just have to come see everything else I’ve dreamed up for my Stampede show for yourself!”

The memory-making begins before guests even take their seats. Outside, the popular Horse Walk offers an up-close introduction to the show’s four-legged stars. Inside the Saloon, the pre-show energy builds with live bluegrass and country music that sets the tone for an evening steeped in Americana.

Once the grand spectacle begins, 32 magnificent horses thunder into the 35,000-square-foot arena, guided by a skilled ensemble through daring barrel races, trick riding and precision formations. Audience-favorite Skeeter keeps the laughs rolling with playful antics, while a dramatic buffalo stampede and westward cattle drive featuring longhorn steer bring the spirit of the American frontier to life.

New this season, the enchanting “Butterfly Dreams” segment adds a burst of color and wonder. Horses adorned with whimsical butterfly wings glide through choreographed formations as oversized blossoms bloom center stage and descend from above. The fantasy continues skyward with a breathtaking aerial butterfly performance that soars high above the arena floor.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Stampede without the feast. Guests dig into the show’s famous four-course meal, beginning with the original creamy vegetable soup and homemade biscuit, followed by a whole rotisserie chicken, pulled pork, buttery corn on the cob and mashed potatoes. Dessert choices include a warm apple turnover or chocolate coconut cake, along with unlimited Coca-Cola® products, tea and coffee. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are also available upon request. And in true Stampede style, applause comes with a stomping of feet, keeping hands free for every delicious bite.

The evening builds to an emotional finale with “Color Me America,” an original song written and recorded by Parton. In a stirring patriotic tribute, riders and their majestic horses fill the arena in a red, white and blue celebration honoring the nation, a particularly meaningful salute as America approaches its 250th birthday in 2026.

Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the 19 Best Things to Do in Branson and honored with multiple Gold Best Dinner Show awards by Best of Branson, Stampede continues to set the gold standard for family entertainment. It has also been named among the Top 10 things for families to do in Branson by Travelocity and one of the Top Nine Vacation Spots for Horse Lovers by The Plaid Horse.

For visitors planning a weekend getaway or a memorable night out, Dolly Parton’s Stampede delivers more than a show—it delivers a tradition. With thrilling action, heartfelt music, playful comedy and a meal that has satisfied millions, the experience remains as timeless and joyful as Dolly herself.
